School Counsellor for Cared for Children

Overview

We are seeking to appoint as soon as possible an effective School Counsellor for Cared for Children.

This role is to provide counselling services under the supervision and guidance of the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The role involves counselling referred students ensuring BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy is adhered to or the equivalent and also to work within the school’s parameters of Safeguarding procedures, whole school policies and practices.

This post is for 12 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum.

Salary & Benefits

Scale Point 18 - 23  £32,577 - £35,570 FTE (negotiable depending upon experience)

Actual paid amount  £8,816 - £9,626
