Years 7-11

We have one open eveing and many open days each year.

When arriving, please park off-site and enter via the school's entrance on Cricketfield Road. From there, you will be directed by our school’s staff.

Open evening

On Thursday 24th September 2026 you can visit TA and explore the school and the opportunities available.  You can book a place using the link at the top of this page.  Tours will commence at the following times:

Evening: 4.00pm  |   5.00pm  |   6.00pm

Please allow two hours which will include a presentation followed by a full tour of the school.

Our Open Day presentations will take place in The Platform, our school’s theatre.  Please park off site and enter via the school using our entrance on Cricketfield Road. From there you will be directed by our school’s staff.

Open days

Our open days allow you to see on a normal day with lessons taking place.  You can book a place using the link at the top of this page.  Torquay Academy will be open for visits for parents and students on the following days:

Summer Term 2026:

Monday 29th June 2026

Tuesday 7th July 2026

Autumn Term 2026:

Thursday 10th September 2026

Wednesday 16th September 2026

Tuesday 22nd September 2026

Thursday 8th October 2026 

Tours will commence at the following times: 

Morning: 8.15am  |   9.15am  

Please allow 2 hours for the 8.15am tour as this will include viewing the line up and registration routine before a full tour of the school and presentation. 

Please allow 1.5 hours for the 9.15am tour which will include a presentation followed by a full tour of the school.
