Our Year 6 Summer school and our first days back
Summer school
We welcomed over 240 of our new Year 7s during the last week of the holiday. We had a great week getting to know each other, showing the new students around the school and having lots of fun! Students enjoyed many activities including Orienteering, Climbing, Cooking, Kinetic Sports, Technology, Animal HQ, Spangles Clown School, Craft, Science, Outdoor Education, Sports and Bouncy Castles!
The week ended with students, all wearing their summer school T shirts, taking part in a sports day, having their first Fun Friday, a BBQ and a celebration assembly.
Year 7 first day
Following their summer school, our new Year 7s came to school on Friday with slightly less trepidation than they may otherwise have done. They all looked so smart in their new uniforms. They have made a wonderful first impression upon us all and we look forward to welcoming them for their first full week on Monday.
Year 12 first day back
Fresh from their Prom, our new Year 12s started on Friday. Having secured some phenomenal GCSE results they are ready to start their A level courses.
Testing to return
Our students are so helpful in ensuring that all of the testing went so smoothly. Thank you!
