Incredible A level results for all of our amazing students
A Level Results Day!
I am exceptionally proud of all of our students who have had the strangest of Sixth Form experiences. Today they picked up their results which reflect the incredible efforts that they have put into their studies over the past two years. Against a backdrop of newspaper headlines talking about grade inflation, we will remember that we are handing results that are based upon student effort and actual exam papers that have been marked and moderated by their expert teachers and then have undergone an external moderation by the exam boards. Our boys and girls richly deserve their successes. This is the group that came into school during the first lockdown for extended days to get ahead of their peers with their studies.
More students than ever before leave us to go onto university, including record numbers at the elite Russell Group universities. They are studying a wide range of degrees all over the country.
Some of our students have also secured apprenticeships and are starting new careers.
This was the first year group I welcomed to TA in Year 7 and I would like to wish all of our, now ex, students all the very best for their futures. You are all amazing!
