Celebrating Our GCSE Results 2025

We were delighted to have celebrated the success of our students in this summer’s GCSE examinations this morning. This year’s results show improvement across the headline measures and reflect the hard work, commitment, and determination of our young people and their teachers. Highlights include the continued strong performance in English, Maths and Science, with the vast majority of students securing good passes in all subjects.

Our students have achieved outstanding outcomes across the board. This includes impressive numbers of top grades, with dozens of grade 9s and grade 8s achieved in a wide range of subjects, and many Distinction and Distinction Star grades in vocational qualifications. In total, 32 students averaged a grade 7 or higher across all of their Attainment 8 subjects; this is a phenomenal achievement.

Behind the statistics are the inspiring stories of individual success. There are many stories of perseverance and triumph, from the student who earned 8 grade 9s, to the student who, after years of hard work and support, has now secured passes in both English and Maths. Every one of our young people has something to be proud of.

We could not be prouder of our Year 11s. Their results reflect not only their talent and effort, but also the dedication of our staff, the support of families, and the strength of our school community. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the majority of our students back into the Sixth Form in September as they take the next step in their education.
