Celebrating 6th Form students' success and hard work

Listen

I am so proud of all of our students who have had to contend with the strangest of times during the examination period of their Year 13 exams. Today was the day to come together and celebrate their incredible hard work and dedication over seven years at TA.  The exceptional results are a reward for this hard work and dedication to their studies.

More students than ever before leave us to go onto university, including record numbers at the elite Russell Group universities. They are studying a wide range of degrees all over the country and in the USA.

Some of our students have also secured apprenticeships and are starting new careers.

There has been the backdrop of the way that students have been awarded their grades.  There is still confusion about how we are able to appeal grades for the very few students who were not awarded the grades that we believe they would have achieved had they been given the opportunity to sit their exams. I can assure those students I will be doing all that I can to ensure they get the results they deserve.

I would like to wish all of our, now ex, students all the very best for their futures.
