All of the hard work pays off with amazing GCSE grades
GCSE Results Day!
We are so proud of our incredible students who have worked so hard during their GCSE years. They have had to put up with so much disruption, but they haven’t used this as an excuse to lose their focus upon achieving great results. I look back to last summer during the first lockdown when this group of students were coming into school on a rota to ensure that they didn’t fall behind where they would normally have been. It is this hard work that has paid off today and students collect their results. It must be remembered that we are handing results that are based upon student effort and actual exam papers that have been marked and moderated by their expert teachers and then have undergone an external moderation by the exam boards. Our boys and girls richly deserve their successes.
I look forward to welcoming back the majority of the Year group into our 6th Form in a couple of weeks time.
