Fun Maths Club

What it is:

Fun Maths Club gives Year 7 students the chance to explore maths in a relaxed, enjoyable and practical way.

The club is designed both to build confidence for students who may feel anxious about maths and to challenge confident mathematicians to think creatively and discover new ways of solving problems. Students will work together, share ideas and explain their thinking in a supportive environment.

The benefits of joining:

Rather than relying on worksheets, sessions will use games, practical equipment, manipulatives and technology to explore mathematical ideas. Activities are designed to encourage curiosity, logical thinking and those brilliant “I get it!” moments that make maths come alive.
