Finance and Administration Support Officer
Overview
We are looking for a Finance and Administration Support Officer to ensure the provision of efficient and effective administrative and financial support services to facilitate the effective operation of the Academy. This is a part-time role for 25 hours per week (Monday - Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm), 40 weeks per year (to include term time plus inset days and 1 week in the summer holidays) .
The job will include:
- Processing orders for goods and services
- Processing payment of invoices
- Supporting staff in all financial matters
- Data entry
- General administration duties
- Supporting premises admninistration duties
- Scanning and processing all invoices on IRIS
- Dealing with telephone queries
- Till duites at lunch and break time
You will be able to work well within a team, supporting the Finance Director and the Executive Asistants to the Principal & Operations Managers, but also be capable of using your own initiative with good organisation and communication skills. Accuracy is essential. Experience in operating financial software including Civica, ParentPay and Excel is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given.
Salary & Benefits
Scale point 5-8 £25,583 - £26,824 FTE (negotiable depending upon experience)
Actual paid amount £15,183 - £15,919
