Peripatetic Teacher – Guitar

Salary Range: £25.00 per hour

Starting in September 2019 an inspiring and enthusiastic guitar teacher is required to work on a part-time self-employed basis teaching peripatetic guitar lessons at Torquay Academy.  Join our team of expert teachers and creative students at a school where music flourishes. Teaching experience is preferred but we are open to hearing from those without.The number of students is variable by term though we expect to require a tutor for between 9 -12 hours a week. We are looking for somebody to take a long-term approach toward helping build our provision within the school. Lessons would take place within school hours.Experience:

  • teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Peripatetic Teacher – Guitar


Premises Team Member – Saturday only

Salary Range: Scale Point 5-6,  £9.74/hour  (£18,795 – £19,171 FTE)  Actual £2,609.86 – £2,662.07
Closing Date: 3.6.19 Interview Date (optional):  TBA
Saturday Caretaker required as soon as possible to join our team of premises staff.  The hours of caretaking  work will be 8am – 2pm on a Saturday during term time.  Duties to include caretaking, cleaning, site security, lettings, compliance testing and minor repairs.  Flexibility to cover holiday and sickness throughout the week/year would be beneficial although not essential.
